Thank you for your interest in MacTuner 2.0.6  Your comments and suggestions are always welcome at info@MacTuner.com.  Let us add that MacTuner 2.0.6 was completely engineered from the ground-up with Performance, Start-up speed, Ease-of-use, and Quality as the top-most priorites.  The only similarity between MacTuner 1.0 and MacTuner 2.0.6 is the overall *concept* of a Global Media Receiver.  In all other aspects, MacTuner 2.0.6 is a tremendous evolutionary step in the development of the MacTuner products.  We invite you to try MacTuner 2.0.6 for free, for 15 days.

The file you have downloaded is mactuner206.sit.hqx.  Most Web Browsers, upon downloading of the file, will first de-BinHex it into MacTuner206.sit, and then will Un-StuffIt into a MacTuner2.0.6 folder on your desktop.  If a MacTuner2.0.6 folder is not found on your desktop after downloading MacTuner, please look for a MacTuner206.sit.hqx or MacTuner206.sit file.  If you find a mactuner206.sit.hqx or MacTuner206.sit file, use StuffIt Expander (you can get a copy free from http://www.aladdinsys.com) to expand it.  When you have a MacTuner2.0.6 folder on your desktop, installation is complete.

  24. C. Running MacTuner

  27. You must read the License Agreement file found in the newly installed MacTuner2.0.6 folder, and agree to it's terms, before running MacTuner.

  29. You must have an Internet Web Browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator (available free at http://www.microsoft.com and http://www.netscape.com, respectively), installed on your Mac in order to see and hear the Internet Web-based content that you find via MacTuner.

  31. Additionally, you must have a RealAudio player, such as RealPlayer 5.0 by RealNetworks (available free at http://www.real.com), installed on your Mac in order to see and hear the RealMedia content that you find via MacTuner.

Installation of MacTuner places a "MacTuner2.0.6" folder on your desktop.  Within the MacTuner2.0.6 folder you will find a "MacTuner 2.0.6" application icon.  For convenience, you may want to make an *alias* of this icon and put it directly on your desktop for instant access to MacTuner.  However, *do not* drag the MacTuner 2.0.6 icon itself onto the desktop.

  36. You must be Connected to the Internet when you run MacTuner, as MacTuner makes use of numerous on-line resource to bring you quality new streaming live audio and video.
